The first solar eclipse of the year 2025 is taking place on Saturday, March 29. As per Indian Standard Time, the eclipse will commence at 2:20 PM and will be at its peak at 4:17 PM.The first solar eclipse of the year 2025 will not be visible in India. Saturn will arrive in the Pisces just some hour after the end of the solar eclipse on March 29 where he will join Sun, Rahu, Moon, Retrograde Venus, and Retrograde Mercury. There will be conjunction of six planets in Pisces just after solar eclipse. The Moon will go in Aries on 1st April and again join Pisces on 25th April. Sun will enter in Aries on 14th April. Mercury will stay in Pisces until May 7th (retrograde till April 7, 2025). Venus will remain in Pisces until May 30th, 2025 (retrograde till April 12, 2025).
So, the day of the solar eclipse, there will be six planets in Pisces in the sidereal zodiac - Sun, Moon, retrograde Venus, retrograde Mercury, Saturn and Rahu. Having this many planets in one sign is in itself unusual. However, the rarest element is the meet up of slow-moving Rahu and Saturn. As for Rahu and Saturn coming together in the same sign, this happens every 11 to 12 years. The last time was between September 2013 to October 2014 in the sign of Libra.
When Rahu and Saturn come together in conjunction, the atmosphere becomes heavy, and charged with uncertainty. Both are airy planets, forces of wind and movement, but their natures are different. Saturn is the slow planet, bringing pressure, weight, and fear. Shadow planet Rahu is restless, unpredictable, and swirling with confusion. Together, they create a storm, a disturbance that can be deeply unsettling. Saturn’s influence tightens, restricts, and brings a sense of burden, while Rahu agitates the mind, scattering thoughts and distorting perception. It can be difficult to feel stable when these forces are at play. Emotionally, there may be waves of fear and anxiety, an underlying sense that something is off but without a clear understanding of why.
Whereas the physical level is concern, air imbalances like this can manifest as tension in the body, nervous exhaustion, or disrupted sleep. The system is overstimulated – either feeling stuck and weighed down or caught in a restless loop of overthinking. The feeling of being ungrounded, both mentally and physically, is one of the defining struggles of this conjunction. But this combination won’t effect everyone in exactly the same way when in transit.
The last time, there was a conjunction of Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Rahu in Pisces during April of year 1968.
So, in a way April’2025 is a repeat of April’1968!!
Pisces and it's lord…Jupiter the lord of Pisces is the planet of wisdom, expansion, and divine connection. It makes Pisces naturally open to higher understanding, peace, and intuitive connection. Jupiter is the Akash Tatva, the subtle space that allows thoughts, emotions, and energy to flow freely and Pisces helps people feel deeply connected to each other and the universe. When Akash Tatva is strong, there will be an effortless sense of harmony, clear intuition, and spiritual ease. Here everything just falls into place, everyone feels welcome, at ease, and part of something greater, without needing to force it. But because of Saturn or Rahu influence on Pisces, this balance gets disrupted. Saturn suppresses the fluidity of Akash, making people feel isolated, restricted, or disconnected from their inner peace. And Rahu distorts Akash by creating illusions and mental restlessness, making it harder to distinguish truth from deception. Instead of feeling connected and at ease, there will be confusion, anxiety, and a sense of being lost. When both of these planets interfere with the natural flow of Pisces, it makes a time when people must consciously work to restore clarity and calmness.
The Sun represents governments, authority figures,, leadership and it governs vitality, clarity, the soul, and personal vision. Rahu with the Sun can manifest as egotism, authoritarianism, or distorted leadership. We may feel unclear about your purpose or burned out trying to assert control. The Sun serves as a purifier so during this period, it’s “burning off” layers of karma from the other planets Saturn, Venus, and Mercury, caught in its rays. It is as purification before renewal.
Mercury is debilitated in Pisces and its normally sharp, data-driven intelligence gets lost. Mercury prefers structure, clarity, and facts but Pisces offers none of that to Mercury. Mercury retrograde amplifies its desire and karmic intensity. Mercury wants perfection and precision, but here can’t deliver it. That often leads to mental tension, communication failures, and emotionally reactive decision-making. And Mercury’s not alone, it’s surrounded by Rahu’s distortion, Saturn’s heaviness, and the Sun’s heat, further weakening its function. Mercury governs business, communication, finance, and money. So don’t be surprised if you see contract issues, market fluctuations, tech glitches, or media confusion continuing in the collective.
Venus is exalted in Pisces, where it’s supposed to offer unconditional love, beauty, sensuality, joy, and spiritual devotion. But Venus is also retrograde, and that turns the exaltation upside down. Retrograde Venus love becomes critical, joy conditional, softness tangled in overanalysis. The desire for connection is stronger than ever, but clarity is nowhere to be found. Venus is conjunct Rahu, which exaggerates cravings and distorts perception. What seems beautiful or romantic may be obsessive, karmic, or illusory. We may find ourselves caught in fantasy, longing for the unreachable, or reassessing old relationships through a distorted lens. Saturn bring emotional distance, karmic accountability, and pressure to ground what cannot be grounded. Together, this crowd makes it hard for Venus to shine. Love may feel confusing, pleasure may feel hollow, and connection may come with strings. Venus represents women, beauty, relationships, the arts, and the private sector. We may see controversies around gender roles, performative aesthetics, or moral confusion in the arts and business. It’s not a great time for surface-level partnerships, but it is a powerful time for digging deep into what love and value truly mean.
The year 1968 was a firestorm of protests, uprisings, and violent clashes across the world. Everywhere, 1968 was a year of raw defiance, where people rose up demanding change, and power struck back to keep control.
The themes of year 1968, resistance to war, oppression, and inequality can play out once again, as people can challenge those in power and demand change. These types of protests and unrest are likely to increase in the first two weeks of April’2025. On 10th to 12th April, it may be particularly intense, as Saturn and Rahu will be perfecting their conjunction.
As April is coming closer, it may seem that the world is falling into the sometimes out of control unrest of 1968. We are already seeing signs of this as Saturn inches ever closer to his entrance into Pisces.
However, it is important to take a step back for clarity and analyze how the Rahu-Saturn Pisces storm of 2025 will be different from the storm that occurred in 1968.
In 1968, Saturn and Rahu exact conjunction occurred on 1st May’1968. Both were together in Pisces from January to June 1968, and then again in October, when Saturn retrograded back into Pisces, until the beginning of 1969.
In 2025, Saturn and Rahu exact conjunction will occur on 12th April’2025. Saturn will join Rahu in Pisces on 29th March, but Rahu has already been Pisces since 29th November’ 2023.
Here we see that, although the intensity of conjunction is similar between April-May 1968 and April-May 2025 but period of conjunction was more than one year in 1968, while in 2025, conjunction will last a little over six week. But this conjunction involves a solar eclipse in 2025, we can expect to feel its impact over the next six months.
Pisces is inherently associated with dissolution, release, endings, and merging into a new whole.
In April’1968, Saturn and Rahu were in Revathi nakshatra. Revathi nakshatra is associated to transitions, endings, and the movement from one state to another. It marks the closure of a cycle and the preparation for something new, often reflecting collective shifts or dissolutions on a broad scale. It is related to nourishment and the ability to transcend that which must now fall away.
When Rahu transit in Revathi, its chaotic, disruptive energy meets this nakshatra’s themes of dissolution and transition. This can result in mass confusion, miscommunication, or collective anxiety, especially around systems meant to guide or protect.
And When Saturn transit in Revathi, its restrictive, karmic nature can bring delays or collapses in the very systems Revathi rules. Saturn in Revathi can manifest as collective fatigue, disillusionment, or a feeling of being spiritually or socially “stuck” just as a transition is supposed to happen.
Revathi is a nakshatra generally related more to unraveling rather than aggression. Since Rahu and Saturn remained together in Revati for several months, and reunited again in autumn, this influence continued beyond Pisces in 1968.
But in 2025, Saturn and Rahu are meeting in Purvabhadra nakshatra ruled by Jupiter. Purvabhadra is one of the more intense and enigmatic nakshatras and is located at the end of Aquarius and the start of Pisces. It's lord is Aja Ekapada, a fierce and mystical form of Rudra, a deity associated with lightning, storms, and inner fire. Therefore Purvabhadra this carries the raw force of destruction, purification, and awakening and it bring radical purification, the storm that strips everything bare. It moves from materialism to renunciation, from illusion to revelation. It often surfaces during times of moral panic, spiritual crisis, or ideological war.
Rahu has occupied Purvabhadra in 16th March’2025 and stay in this nakshatra untill 23rd November’2025, On 29th March, it will join Saturn, which is already in this nakshatra since December 27, 2024. This means they are both already in this constellation, so we are getting an idea of what it will feel like when they join the same zodiac sign, which will intensify the energy.
When Rahu transits Purvabhadra, it distorts ideological boundaries; it provokes fanaticism, conspiracy theories, and movements that present themselves as morally correct. However, they often hide a sense of deeper delusions or shadow motives.
Saturn brings karmic reckonings, restrictions and confrontations with reality. Rahu seeks to transcend boundaries; Saturn enforces them. Their conjunction in this intense nakshatra often leads to events where ideals collide with hard truths, and the consequences are rarely subtle.
In 2025, during this transits, we may see…..
Government crackdowns on civil unrest.
Declarations of martial law or emergencies in response to protests.
Violent ideological confrontations, especially when linked to religion, morality or nationalism.
Leaders or movements coming to power under the banner of sacrifice, order or purity.
Cultural or spiritual institutions exposed or brought to breaking point.
Public mourning, moral panic, mass disillusionment.
Thus, April’2025 month is going to be quite unpredictable.
But the good news is that this intensity is not going to remain at the same level for very long because Saturn will move in Utrabhadra nakshatra on 28th April’2025.
When Saturn enters Uttarabhadra, the explosive pressure of the past months begins to give way to something quieter, more private, and karmically heavy. In mundane terms, this period can feel like a collective emotional hangover, a time when the consequences of past turmoil begin to settle down, and can no longer be ignored.
From this day forward, we may see a gradual…
The disappearance of governments or leaders from the public eye.
The quiet collapse of already unstable systems.
Increasing public fatigue or emotional overwhelm, especially around issues of war, morality, or institutional trust.
Demands for peace, healing, or accountability, which may be answered by a slow or delayed response.
Collective mourning for what has been lost, especially trust, security, or a shared vision.
Rahu still in Purvabhadra creates a two-sided dynamic. With Rahu in Purvabhadra the fiery, distorted ideological energy does not completely disappear – it simply becomes more uncontrolled. This creates a split in the energy. Rahu continues to stir up, distort or increase unrest based on ideology, conspiracy or anger.
Saturn, now in Utrabhadra, begins the slow process of settling karma, making it harder for that chaos to continue without consequence.
This dynamic can manifest as follows……..
Leaders or movements losing support as emotional trauma becomes evident.
Public disillusionment with former heroes or objectives.
A desire for meaning, peace, or unity – but without clear direction.
Extreme exhaustion or collapse after months of intense resistance.
This is not a dramatic stage, but rather a sobering one. It is the quiet aftermath, when we stop yelling and start asking deeper questions, such as: Now what? What have we just suffered? And what do we still have to let go of before we can move on?
What we have to do….
Slow down. Avoid major financial or relationship decisions unless necessary. Double-check everything, including communications, contracts, assumptions.Take space for reflection. Don’t force clarity, as it can’t yet be found. Stay grounded, especially in your body, mind and nervous system.
Now we have to see what kind of situations this transit faces and how uncertain the time will be?
