Placement of Jupiter in Ascendant is good placement but only when the Ascendant lord is well-placed in birth chart. The worst aspect of this placement is that when Jupiter is in Ascendant, it often takes away the native’s father, either the father dies early or the father moves away from the native, in short , there is a kind of strong absence of father’s love in native’s life. What is the reason behind this? Because Jupiter is Lord of Lords and when Jupiter is in Ascendant it means Native’s seniority is far superior to anybody else in his immediate family means his Father and Mother. In our Bhartiya culture, the Father is the topmost authority of the family.
